Golden Jubilee Celebration of Prince Aga Khan

The 49th Imam of Ismaili Shia Muslims Prince Kareem Aga Khan’s golden jubilee celebrations were celebrated in Hyderabad. Representatives of Ismaili community from more than 25 countries participated in the celebrations. These celebrations are held for the basis of moral values and peaceful coexistence.


In the last six decades, Prince Aga Khan has transformed the lifestyles of crores of Ismaili persons across the world. He worked for the financial empowerment of the members of the community, their health and education. He also worked for improving the lifestyles of the people residing in some of the remote parts of the world.

Prince Aga Khan is the religious head of 15 million Ismaili Muslims residing in South Africa, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and North America. He was made Imam of this sect 60 years back when he was only 20 years old. He succeeded his grandfather, Sir Sultan Mohammed Shah Aga Khan.
