योग से देश को जगाने, आयुर्वेद से स्वस्थ बनाने और स्वदेशी उत्पादों से भारतीयों को स्वाभिमानी बनाने की सोच के बाद योगऋषि स्वामी रामदेव ने आज देश को एक नया चैनल दिया है। वैदिक नाम के इस चैनल की घोषणा स्वामी रामदेव मे फरवरी में हरिद्वार में की थी। वैदिक चैनल, वौदिक ब्रॉ़डकास्टिंग समूह का पांचवा चैनल होगा। इससे पहले आस्था, संस्कार, अरिहंत, आस्था भजन और सत्संग नाम से धार्मिक चैनलों की श्रंख्ला चल रही है।
वैदिक चैनल, अपने नाम के अनुरूप ही काम करेगा। ये भारतीय संस्कृति, ज्ञान, वैभव को सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक, आर्थिक प्रस्तुतियों के जरिए पेश करेगा। चैनल लॉन्च की घोषणा करते हुए स्वामी रामदेव ने ट्वीट किया और लिखा कि, ‘वैदिक चैनल टाटा स्काई के चैनल नंबर 1078 पर दिखाई देगा. इस चैनल को लॉन्च करने का उद्देश्य वेद, दर्शन, उपनिषद, रामायण, महाभारत और गीता को घर-घर तक पहुंचाना है।

इस बड़ी खबर के साथ ही रिलिजन वर्ल्ड आपको एक और बड़ी खबर दे रहा है। 18 अगस्त को पहली बार स्वामी रामदेव फिल्मी पर्दे पर देख पाएंगे। ये है इंडिया नाम की इस फिल्म के वे एक गाने में दिखेंगे। फिल्म के निर्देशक लोम हर्ष है और गवी चहल और डिएना उप्पल इसमें अभिनय कर रहे हैं
