Kanakadurga temple to get connected with bus and railway stations

Andhra Pradesh, July 24: Recently Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu met the Officials and proposed to connect the Kanakadurga temple from the bus and railway stations.

Naidu met officials of Amaravathi Development Corporation (ADC) at the Secretariat. The officials have proposed a new infrastructure project for the area in and around Rajiv Gandhi Park to be transformed into a special, highly connected and green zone.

To realise the Chief Minister’s vision of making the pathway from the bus and railway stations to the Kanakadurga temple convenient for the pilgrims, the ADC team proposed a grandiose plan including a transport system with pod taxis (suspended, driverless, electrically-operated taxis).

They also proposed a green route, with walkways, public seating areas, an amphitheatre, plazas for a craft market along the lengths of the canals. The plan also contains jetty stations and many design plans for greenery in the vicinity of the walking trails.

The Chief Minister urged the officials to complete the draft plans soon and implement the same as early as possible. Officials on their part have said that they will be ready with the next draft of the proposal, which will follow extensive research, and with the implementation of some of CM’s suggestions.

Meanwhile the Kanakadurga temple authorities are making the grandeur arrangements for the Shravana masam special pooja’s and the Varalakshmi Pooja every Friday.
