1.For all skin types best is to apply 2tsp curd, 1tsp besan, 1tsp lemon juice,1pinch of turmeric and wash off with water after 10 minutes for instant glow. Also for ageing skin in this leading Dermatologist Dr Deepali Bhardwaj says we can add crushed walnut powder and egg yolk and for very oily skin fullers earth can be added instead.

Also to concentrate on eyes apply tomato juice, cucumber juice concoction on eyes dipped in sterile cotton pads a day before any function for 20-30minutes for having great eyes with no bags quips Dr Bhardwaj.

2.For dry skin- eat more essential oils, flax seeds daily also besides moisturzing using an oil like vitamin E, sesame, olive or almond oil on slightly damp body after bath is a good idea explains Dr Deepali Bhardwaj. And for face use a moisturzing sunscreen daily morning and during the day keep adding a little moisturizer on face and at night apply night cream which will ensure to seal hydration in your dry skin type and is particularly rich in vitamin E& is a paraben free.

Oily skin-

You should also moisturise so that ageing effects don’t show sooner! Applying a little of baby oil is good idea says Dr Bhardwaj after bath and also using an oily skin moisturzer should help.

Combination skin-

Using a moisturiser for acne prone skin is a good idea even if you aren’t prone to acne as that shall stabilise the skin moisture. Also, a spritzer with mineral water from so many brands available now in the market is good to keep skin balanced through the day by spraying once or twice explains Dr Deepali Bhardwaj. Lastly night cream must be used even if it isn’t used during summers as shall help in moisture sealing for the skin and also, maintains the skin to shine and not get dull in the chilly weather.

Eating green vegetables, all coloured fruits and lentils daily will help besides drinking 4-5 litres water daily for adults which helps is flushing away toxins and also circulating good vitamins in the body well.
