The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Dharma Prachara Parishad will organize a bhakti sangeetam (music programme) and spiritual discourses as part of Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams in Tirupathi from July 2.
TTD Joint Executive Officer (JEO) Pola Bhaskar said that the concerts will take place in the PWD grounds. On the first day July 2, concert by noted singer Ghazal Srinivas and a spiritual discourse by Kompella Ramasurya Narayana will be held.
Gangadhara Sastry and his troupe, P.R. Kousalya and Krishna team, Pavan Kumar and team, Malladi brothers, Balakrishna Prasad and Bullemma, Vasu Rao and team, R. Bullemma and team would give performances from July 3 to 9. And Mylavarapu Srinivasa Rao, Mallapragada Srimannarayana, Kasireddi Venkat Reddy, Dhulipala Prabhakara Krishnamurthy would deliver spiritual discourses from July 4 to 7.

With the Spirutual Leader Chinna Jeeyar Swamy giving his final nod to the Master plan for the renovation of the historic Sri Seetaramachandra Swamy Temple in Bhadrachalam, State government of Telangana has sanctioned 100 crores for the same.
The State Government of Telangana wanted to give the historic Temple a much needed face lift and has given the responsibility to a renowned Architect the responsibility. The Architect and the team took the help of Sri jeeyar Swamy to finalise the details which have been submitted to the Chief Minister K Chandra Shekhar Rao recently.
Sources say that Minister for Roads and Buildings T. Nageshwara Rao will meet the CM soon and to review the final details of the project and to go for tenders for execution of the development project in August.

A brochure of annual Bonalu festival of Sri Akkanna Madanna Mahankali temple has been released by Sri KV Ramana Chary, State government advisor for cultural and Media.
Speaking on the occasion Temple president, G Niranjan said all the necessary arrangements are being made to provide devotees a hassle free darshan at the historic Akkanna Madannna Mahankali temple in Hari Bowli.
Niranjan said that Bonalu festival, which will commence on July 16 will conclude the next day with Rangam followed by a procession on same day, where popular elephant Rajini will be carrying Maha Ghatam of the Goddess Mahankali. And that they are requesting the Forest department to allow Rajini to participate in the procession.

Bonalu being the festival of Village Goddess, A group of devotees have been taking the “Bonam” to the Kanaka Durga in Vijayawada every year. This year the contigent will consist of more than 200 from Hyderabad.
The devotees want to take the Bonam to Indrakeeladri for the peace and prosperiety of both the states. The devotees will be offering the Bonam to the goddess on July 2. The temple management has made arrangement for the celebration of Bonalu on Indrakeeladri in a grand way. There will be a procession from the main road to the Hilltop with the Bonam’s Smeared with vermillion and turmeric, potharajus dancing to the rhymthic drumbeats with women clad in their best attire will carry the traditional offering of bonams to the Goddess.
