Puducherry,June 21; A unique initiative from the administration of Puducherry, this International Yoga Day is dedicated to the youth calling it “Beach Pomenade”.
According to the Puducherry administration, as many as 30,000 students are expected to participate in this event which will have students from various institutions across Puducherry, Yanam, Karaikal and Mahe.
Apart from performing Asanas the event will also have youngsters planting the saplings for a healthier environment.
For the Beach Pomenade a core team headed by Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi has been formed with various universities and administration heads.
