In a statement issued today, Maulana Madani said that it is the matter of pleasure to hear the decision of Saudi government regarding Hajj that Hajj has not been suspended but shortened. So, Hajj will be held this year also but with some restrictions as it is not possible for pilgrims from all over the world to reach there due to this epidemic, so it has been decided. We value this decision.

Maulana Madani has said that people should not think that Hajj 2020 will not be performed. He said the Saudi government had made it clear that the Hajj 2020 would be held, but not in the way it had been before as millions of people from around the world were gathering to perform Hajj.

Maulana said that since corona virus became deadly and the disease became a global epidemic, the rules of physical distance have limited many things. Health experts have prevented people from gathering in one place, after which Saudi government had to take this kind of decision that should be valued. This decision of Saudi government has also removed the fears in the hearts of the people regarding Hajj.

Maulana has also said that after discussion with Saudi government, Indian government has also made it clear that it will not send Hajj pilgrims from India this time, but if Indian pilgrims are living in Saudi Arabia and they want to perform Hajj. so we strongly hope that all of them will definitely get a chance to perform Hajj.

Maulana said that the Prophet of Allah has made it clear that if you are in the place of illness, do not leave it and if you are away from the place of illness, do not go to the place of illness and since Corona is a global epidemic and yet there is no cure for the disease, so people need to take precautions.

It should be noted that according to Arab News, as of June 22 in Saudi Arabia, Saudi population is only 33.7 million according to the 2018 census, in this small population so far, 161,000 people have been infected with Corona and 1307 people have passed away, and the number of patients is increasing day by day.
