  • Offer prayers on Friday at home and I myself would pray at home today as well: Maulana Arshad Madani President Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind

New Delhi. Maulana Arshad Madani President Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind said that in the light of government directives issued regarding corona virus, I would like to advise that people must avoid gathering in mosques on Friday as well, offer prayers at home only.

He also said that today he himself is going to offer prayer at his home. Only Imam, muazzin and three persons should offer Jumah prayer at mosque so that obligation can be fulfilled. It is our religious and social responsibility to protect ourselves and others from this harm.

All people must avoid gatherings at any place, and follow the Shariah guidelines for the protection of human life rather than emotions.
