Peace Walk in the Himalayas to fortify Indo-Thai ties
New Delhi, 24 June; Padh Yatra let by Most Venerable Phrateppariyattisuthi Thongsukas, is now nearing Leh and they will attend the International Conference on “World Peace, 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Preservation of Cultural Heritage of the Himalayas’’.
People in all the villages have extended a hearty welcome and we appreciate the devoted people of Ladakh for extending such a warm welcome to our peace delegation from Thailand.

Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena, President, Mahabodhi International Meditation Center (MIMC) Leh (Ladakh) stated, “We wholeheartedly welcome each and everybody for the fourth Pad Yatra for ‘World Peace and 3-Day International Conference on World Peace, 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Preservation of the Cultural Heritage of the Himalayas’. The gathering will be on June 26 – 28.”

The peace walk, a mobile journey, started from Bodh Gaya and through Dharamshala, it entered the Ladakh area, where it will finish up at MIMC Leh. The yatras led so far have assumed a key job in upgrading the conciliatory and religious ties among Thailand and India and this year as the number of members is higher, it will further prompt shared thriving, bliss and triumph for both the countries, which have constantly assumed a fundamental job in advancing harmony and agreement in the locale.
