Two-days grand Guru Purnima Celebration at Maharishi Organisation
Bhopal (Mahamedia): A two-day grand celebration will be held at Maharishi Mangalam Auditorium, Maharishi Vidya Mandir Ratanpur Campus, on the occasion of Guru Purnima on July 15 and 16 July from 10 am to 4.30 pm both days.
The grand celebration, to be held under the auspices of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Institutions and Maharishi World Peace Movement, will be marked by spiritual activities, ritualistic events and musical programmes in honour of Guru Brahmanand Saraswati and Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji.
Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya and Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, Brahmachari Girish Ji will preside over the function.
The celebration will start with Shri Guru Parampara Pujan in presence of Vedic Pandits and guests arriving from all over India. After Brahmachari Girish Ji’s keynote address to the gathering, the directors and heads of various Maharishi Institutions will offer all the achievements of the year to the lotus feet of Shri Guru Dev and Maharishi Ji. The first-day programme will conclude with the presentation of group-song by the students of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir.
On July 16, the programme will commence as usual with the Guru Parampara Pujan, Veda Paath and Guru Vandana at 10 am. After this Brahmachari Girish Ji will open the celebration and will offer overall achievements of all Maharishi Organisations in India, Prof Bhuvnesh Sharma (Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya) and V. R. Khare (Secretary General of Maharishi World Peace Movement) will address the gathering.
The BHAJANANJALI by Bhajan Singers from Nagpur will be the highlight of the second day afternoon celebration. The artists include renowned bhajan singer Anand Deshmukh and Mrs Aditi Deshmukh, Harish Landge (violin), Rahul Manekar (harmonium), Vinod Patthe (tabla) and Raju Jagtap (tabla).
Guru Purnima is celebrated on the full moon day in the Vedic month of Ashadh every year to remember, to thank, to express the gratitude to the Master and seek his blessings for a successful happy life. The celebration is also organised by different organisations in about 300 cities all over India.
