CBI files first charge sheet against Gurmeet Ram Rahim for 400 castrations
CBI files first charge sheet against Dera Sacha Sauda’s Gurmeet Ram Rahim and two doctors, M P Singh and Pankaj Garg for alleged castration of his male devotees. The case is based on a petition in Punjab & Haryana High Court alleging 400 castrations.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who is serving a twenty year jail term after being convicted in two rape cases of his women followers. Dr Mahinder Pal Singh, a qualified surgeon had performed 300 castration surgeries on the followers of Dear Chief, Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
Mahender Insan is also a close aide of rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. The accused surgeon’s name also figured in Panchkula police’s most wanted list. He is likely to be produced in the court on Monday.
