Yogi Ashwini: A Radiant Journey of the Self

Yogi Ashwini is a well-known spiritual master and the founder of the Dhyan Foundation. Through the ancient science of Yoga and Vedic knowledge, he has touched the lives of countless individuals across the world. His journey is an inspiring one — from the gross physical body to the subtle dimensions of the inner self. According to him, the journey of the body doesn’t start at birth, but rather continues from previous lives — carrying the imprints of karma and samskaras.

Yogi Ashwini’s guru belonged to an ancient, authentic yogic tradition, and introduced him to the deepest secrets of Yog. Unlike a renunciate (sanyasi), Yogi Ashwini remained actively engaged in the world, fulfilling his spiritual purpose as a yogi while being amidst society. His transformation into a yogi came through intense sadhana, celibacy, discipline and unwavering focus. He shares that his journey to the Himalayas was life-altering — filled with profound experiences that defy verbal explanation, where one feels a deep connection to the universe and witnesses heightened states of awareness.

According to him, a yogi is not ‘miraculous’ — it is the natural result of discipline, yogic practice and inner purification. What the world calls miracles are simply manifestations of a yogi’s elevated state of consciousness. Yogic science is a structured, ancient science that aligns the body, mind and prana (life-force) to bring balance and spiritual growth. It includes practices like Kundalini awakening, dhyan (meditation), mantra chanting and more.

A kundli is a map of the stars at the time of one’s birth — it shows tendencies, karmic influences, and life’s direction. Clairvoyance, or ‘divya drishti’, is a yogic ability that allows perception beyond the ordinary — seeing events, places or truths without physical contact. Siddhis are extraordinary abilities gained through yogic practice — like control over time, insight into people’s thoughts, or deep healing powers.

When someone connects with Yogi Ashwini, their own spiritual journey begins. But this journey starts within — by observing one’s thoughts, actions and energies. As a yogi, he takes on the responsibility of spreading truth, protecting life, and guiding seekers. His work in gauraksha (cow protection) is unparalleled — nurturing over 65,000 Nandi bulls through Dhyan Foundation. This inspiration comes from the Vedic belief that divinity resides in all beings, and serving them is serving the divine.

Yogi Ashwini has also received information about animal smuggling and illegal activities — not through ordinary means, but through yogic perception, inner intuition and a connected spiritual network. This is not superstition, but the refined ability of a focused, evolved mind.

Yog also brings higher awareness — consciousness or ‘chetna’ — a state where the individual feels one with the environment and the universe. Yogi Ashwini explains that spirits, ghosts and unseen entities are not fictional — they exist on different planes of existence and can sometimes interact with ours. Similarly, rebirth is real — we carry our karmas from life to life, until they are exhausted through action and awareness.

On the topic of wealth, Yogi Ashwini says — “Dharma leads to artha, artha supports kaam, and ultimately moksha.” In other words, earn through righteous means, use it wisely, and eventually transcend it. Ayurveda, too, aligns with this view — promoting a lifestyle rooted in balance, purity and connection with nature.

Today’s youth often feel lost — and the reason is lack of inner direction. According to Yogi Ashwini, through proper guidance, dhyan, and spiritual lifestyle, clarity and purpose naturally arise. And about the end of Kaliyug, he reminds us: every age of darkness is also an opportunity — if humanity rises in awareness, even this age can turn into light.
