Tirupathi : Free Weddings program a huge hit!

The TTD’s unique devotee friendly program of facilitation with free weddings for interested couple at Tirumala has drawn huge response .Nearly 10,000 free weddings have been conducted at Kalyana Vedika built at Tirumala since its inception on April 25,2016,

As part of its commitment to promote Sanatana Hindu dharma the TTD freely provided services of purohits,nadaswaram team, Rs.50 rooms and Pasupu/Kumkama kankanams to the wedding party along 12 laddus(Rs.25 each).The wedding party has to bring other material for marragie function and parents presence is a must and if they abstain the couple should present adequate proof of documents.

 

 

The TTD later provided a Rs.300 ticket along with a group photo of the new couple together with which the groom, bride and parents of both totally six persons could get free darshan entry . The devotees interested in free wedding at Tirumala could also book their space and time online on the kalyana vedika column of the website of ttdsevaonline.com .They should also upload their aadhar card or voter ID along with age proof -birth certificates/SSC certificates /TC /Driving license/Passport.An acknowledgment is issued with wedding date and muhurtam selected by them which they have to produce six hours before on the wedding day.

The TTD has also provided current booking facility for the couple and they should be Hindus by caste ,above 18 years (bride) and 21 years(groom).Second weddings or love marraiges are strictly banned.  To facilitate the legal registration of weddings performed at Tirumala, the TTD has organised the office of the Hindu Marraiges Registrations at cottage No SMC -233, Tirumala .The newly wedded couple should submit,age proof, proof of residence,wedding photo,wedding invitation,reciept of Kalyana Mandapam and come along with minimum of three witnesses between office hours of 10.30 AM to 5.00 PM .
