India has many saints and philosophers, but the three great spiritual personalities who influenced the Hindu Religion are  – Sri Sankaracharya who advocated Advaita Philosophy, Sri Ramaanujaachaarya who advocated Visishtaadvaita philosophy and Sri Madhwacharya who advocated Dvaita Philosophy.
