Special Narayan Seva By Sri Sathya Sai Samithi, Bhilwara

The members of Sri Sathya Sai Samithi, Bhilwara organise Narayan Seva four days in a week i.e. WednesdayThursdayFri day and Saturday at 12 noonAround 100 -150 people come to Gajadhar Mansingh Ka Dharmshalla, to partake prasadam lovingly offered by Sai devotees. While explaining its growth the District President of Bhilwara, Sri Dinesh Mundra said “When we started 3 years back, this was a very small venture in which about 4-5 Sai families used to cook food on every Thursday to feed 10-12 needy people at Bhilwara Railway Station. With the increase in participation of sai family and the increase in number of ‘Narayans’ the venue of the Narayan Seva had to be changed from Railway Station to more spacious place, i.e., nearby Dharmshalla”. Over the years with Bhagawan’s Grace, looking at the selflessness and dedication of Sai Volunteers, this activity has expanded exponentially. Now about 100 families (devotees and non devotees) participate in this activity. They cook food in their respective houses which is then, collected area wise by Sai Volunteers. Then after offering it to Bhagwan and performing Brahmarpanam, it is lovingly served to the assembled Narayans. After the Narayan Seva the food containers are washed and the place is cleaned by sevadal. The Narayan seva is concluded with a prayer of “Samastha Loka Sukhino Bhavantu” and mangala Aarthi.
