Khalsa Aid come forward to help in Kerala Floods

Sikh humanitarian organisation Khalsa Aid hears every distress call. They are available everywhere to serve the humanity. As Kerala is reeling with floods and lost more than 300 lives, Khalsa Aid has start serving foods at many places in the state.

From 18th August, Khalsa Aid volunteers served hot meals to 20,000 floods affected people in Kerala on daily basis.

KERALA FLOODS APPEAL

Kerala (India) has been left devastated by the recent floods, over 150,000 people have been directly effected and are in need of emergency aid. Khalsa Aid (India team) has been responding to the disaster and thank you for your continued support.

The death toll from floods in the southern Indian state of Kerala has jumped to 164 and could grow further, with more rain predicted and thousands of people still awaiting rescue.

Roads are damaged, mobile phone networks are down, an international airport has been closed and more than 150,000 people have been left homeless after unusually heavy rain this month caused the most damaging floods in Kerala in a century.

Khalsa Aid International is establishing a team in the region to provide emergency aid and assistance to those affected by the disaster.
