INTERFAITH CONFERENCE ADDIS ABABA : HAJI SALMAN CHISHTI LEADING INDIAN DELEGATION

Haji Syed Salman Chishty – Gaddi Nashin – Dargah Ajmer Sharif, Chairman- Chishty Foundation Is leading India’s delegation at the Celebrations of United Nations Organisation – World Interfaith Harmony Week, held at the African Union Commission Headquarters in Addis Ababa – Ethiopia under the theme of “Interfaith Cooperation to promote a Culture of Peace, Harmony and Human Dignity”
Diplomatic Representatives and Spiritual Leaders from Ethiopia, Kenya, India, France, USA, Thailand, Ghana, Netherlands, Australia, South Africa, Mexico, Israel, UK, Canada and other African countries are present at the African Union for celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week with U Day Festival 2018.

H.E. Amb.Moussi Hailu – representing URI at UN and African Union has been instrumental in organising the Festival in Ethiopia along with visionaries of UDay Fest – Mr Ben Bowler from Australia and Mr Yanni Maniates from USA.

Mr Salman Chishty spoke at the importance of Dialogue n Discussion among global religious n interfaith community leaders as well as Heads of States so Harmony, Peace and Unity can be achieved in the world as well as global problem of Extremism and Radicalisation will also be kept under check and control.

H.E. Dr. Mualtu Teshome, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia is the chief guest of the programme and addressed the “Interfaith Cooperation to promote a Culture of Peace, Harmony and Human Dignity”
