Bhadrachalam – Sri Rama Navami Brahmostavams begin at the temple

Festive spirit pervaded across the historic temple town of Bhadrachalam on the occasion of Ugadi on Sunday with scores of devotees flocking to the temple of the Lord Sitaramachandra Swamy to participate in the Telugu New Year celebrations. A host of special rituals, spiritual events and devotional programmes, including Panchanga Sravanam and Tiruveedhi Seva, marked the Ugadi celebrations at the temple on Wednesday highlighting the glorious Telugu cultural and literary heritage on the occasion. The occasion also marked the beginning of “Sri Rama Navami Tiru Kalyana Brahmotsavam” fete at the historic shrine.

Tastefully designed arches have been installed at the Bridge Centre and other main junctions in the temple town enlivening the glory of Bhadradri, the abode of Lord Sitaramachandra Swamy. The temple has been colourfully illuminated with sparkling lights in connection with the Sri Rama Navami Brahmotsavam.

The Devasthanam authorities have initiated elaborate arrangements to conduct Sri Sitarama Tiru Kalyana Mahotsavam and Srirama Pattabishekam in a grand manner on  March 25 and 26th  respectively.
