Morgan Freeman Spiritual meeting with Jain Guru in Nepal
Hollywood Actor Morgan Freeman is in Nepal for the shoot of ‘The Story of God’ for National Geographic. His quest for religion and god is well known and he is blessed to meet many holy figures in his journeys. While shooting in Kathmandu, he visited a Jain Temple and met His Holiness Swastishri Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Panditacharyavarya Mahaswamiji.
Both spiritual souls discuss deep matters of spirituality. Later the Holiness has given him a coconut as blessing and also tied red thread on his right hand, which is considered pious and pure in jain and hindu religion.
Dr Pankaj Jain who is Associate Professor in University of Texas also participated for the shooting to make an episode on Jainism for the film STORY OF GOD. He was part of the episode and speak Morgan Freeman about Jainism.
